2 days ago, in Social Psychology and Communication Tutorial ... we were learning about Social Perception.

Our activity: Sit in a circle and put your classmates name against a sentence in the worksheet.

Serene Lau (teacher): "Ok who is going to be a self-made millionaire?" (reading off the worksheet)
Someone: "MICHELLE!" (Ok fine there was another name but I can't remember who)
Me: "Huh?!"
Serene Lau: "Why Michelle?"
Someone (Veronica the First): "Cuz she's very sociable, so network of friends will be wide AND she seems to be the kind of person who will stand through hard times. Aiya, just got that aura la!"

MUAHAHAHAHA SELF-MADE MILLIONAIRE LEH! Didn't know I would give that kind of aura. Not bad, not bad at all.

Mass Communications in NP.

Not as bad as I expected, but not perfect either. I'm really thankful that I made really good friends, people who are sincerely nice and friendly ... not stuck-up or arrogant as most people would assume mass comm people to be. (Or am I the only who have that impression?) Oh and for the record, there aren't many bimbos in there. (Hehee, contrary to what I heard before I came in!)

I can use one word to describe the people around me. LOUD. Like seriously, darn loud. Talk loud, laugh loud, eat loud (ok maybe not). And not to mention ... HYPER. Dramatic actions, silly cheers, crazy dance moves.

Currently my favourate module is Radio Production and Speech Communication. Probably largely due to the fact that the lecturers for both modules are so humourous. (And they've got style, man!) But, I like the content too! It's appealing to me. Hahaha. Thank You Lord for good lecturers!

Okeydokey that's my first week of poly life in a nutshell. I need sleeeeeeeep.

Ok I wanted to post this on Sunday but I didn't exactly get down to doing it so here goes! Sunday was babysitting day for me. (Woots, can't imagine? Yeah, I can't believe I survived it too.)

Babysat these 3 monkeys uhm I mean kids. Jarrell (9 years old), Melissa (9 years old) and Jerron (5 years old).

The two boys are my nephew and their mum left them in my care for that afternoon. (just me alone with them!)

Jerron. Darn adorable right? But hyperactive laaaaaa.

They made me play "cooking" with them, watched the Doraemon series, brought them downstairs to buy ice cream blah blah. Kinda feel like a kid again. Hehehee.

Shopped with this silly girl sometime last week and guess how many photos we took? 5!!!! Who goes out and comes back with 5 photos you tell me? Tsk!
